Carlos La Cruz commenced his professional career in the city of New York as restaurant manager in the most prestigious restaurants in the city as Rancho Cafe, Virgil BBQ in Times Square , Time Square Cafe, Gigino's at Wartner Park, Dos Caminos Mexican Restaurant Park avenue and Soho , 55 wall at the Regent Hotel at Wall Street, Megu NYC at Tribeca , The Sport Club LA as a F & B Director , The most Glamorous club in New York Duvet restaurant and Night Club, and at F & T Group / QC Celebrity palace as General manager creating 7 Restaurants in the queens crossing building : Mulan Modern Asian cuisine, Mudan Banquet Hall, TMSK lounge, Ah rhee soo Japanese and Korean restaurant, Rose House The Tea House, Bally BBQ & Beer and Paris Baguette cafe. Working with the President of the Asian American Association and Executive Chef Peter How. Where he undertook his Professional Year and subsequently gained the status of Excellence in Management. Carlos possesses over 24 years' experience in the hospitality industry in “ The City Of New York”.

His Book Bitacora Gastronomica de Venezuela in USA, in this books he recovered over 300 traditional Venezuelan recipes and Bitacora del Vino in Europe.

Carlos La Cruz established a new Style in the Restaurant industry creating upscale service on a bed at  “Duvet Restaurant and Lounge ,  fallowing Sabina Belkin concept and great ideas that generate more than 380 Media clips, an a lot media attention, in USA, Europe and Asia .

The Chef  was part of the show Las Comadres with Gloria B the Morning Magazine with his segment “ Cooking with Carlos” produced by  MAPI TV for NBC UNIVERSAL SPANISH CHANNEL 47  TELEMUNDO NEW YORK .

On September 19th  2010,  The president of the  Venezuelan Chef Association , Elia Nora Rodriguez , formally Judge of the World Association of Chef Societies “ World Chefs” ,Honor  him with the lifetime achievement award “ The Honorific Mention” in the city of New York

Carlos was back with Sabina Belkin and Lorraine Belkin, the druthers of the Russian Magnate Mr. Eduard Belkin   in the new adventure call “Duo Restaurant and  Lounge”  in the hard of the Madison Avenue In Manhattan NY.
Segafredo Zanetti Espresso New York,   for The Italian Billionaire Mazino Zanetti and  the  the famous  Indian producers Brothers kang as Opening General Manager and Executive Chef .
Palladium restaurant and lounge in Astoria  Opening General Manager , Executive Chef and restaurant partner .
Tio Luca Cocina and Vino,  restaurant partner in Lenox Avenue , and Restaurant consultant for  the big restaurant corporation “Tacos and Tequila Mexican Grill” in the Atlanta Metro Area Georgia.   The Celebrity  Chef Carlos La Cruz  career in the hospitality industry is valuable and recognized for the Industry in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
